Here at CopperTree Analytics, we’re thrilled to announce our partnership with Introba, a leading innovator in sustainable building solutions. Together, we’re on a mission to transform the way buildings operate and pave the way for a more sustainable future. Our collaboration has given rise to an exciting new product: iPerform. Recently, Introba shared an insightful blog post titled “How iPerform Can Radically Improve Your Building’s Performance”, shedding light on the remarkable capabilities of our joint offering. Let’s delve deeper into some key takeaways from their post:
Addressing the Urgent Need for Efficiency
Introba rightly highlights the pressing need to enhance building efficiency in the face of escalating energy consumption and environmental concerns. With buildings accounting for a significant portion of global carbon emissions, the imperative to optimize their performance has never been clearer.
Introducing iPerform: A Game-Changer in Building Optimization
At its core, iPerform represents a paradigm shift in building commissioning and operations. By leveraging advanced automation and data-driven insights, iPerform empowers building owners and operators to unlock unparalleled efficiency gains.
Realizing Tangible Benefits
The blog post outlines the tangible benefits of iPerform, ranging from real-time monitoring and fault detection to energy modeling and optimization. Through proactive intervention and informed decision-making, building stakeholders can achieve substantial cost savings and environmental impact reductions.
A Case Study in Excellence
One of the most compelling aspects of Introba’s post is the inclusion of a real-world case study showcasing the transformative power of iPerform. By implementing targeted solutions, our partnership delivered significant energy savings and emissions reductions for a government building in Melbourne, Australia. After just one month of using iPerform, the team could identify six issues that were wasting energy in the building. For example, the building’s air handling units had an economizer sequence, which would open the outdoor air dampers to 100% when the outside air temperature was less than the return air temperature from within the building. The recommendation was for a new economizer sequence that would take into account the difference in enthalpy and recommend that the outside air dampers only be opened to a minimum position for ventilation when the conditions showed the enthalpy difference was greater than a given threshold.
This solution resulted in many benefits to the building, including:
- 20% reduction in energy consumption
- 9,596 kWh of monthly energy savings
- 123 metric tons of avoided yearly CO2e emissions.
Join Us in Shaping a Greener Tomorrow
